The Australian software provider Energy One announced that a cyberattack hit certain corporate systems in Australia and the UK last week.

Energy One is a global supplier of software products and services to wholesale energy, environmental and carbon trading markets.

“On Friday, 18 August 2023, Energy One Limited established that certain corporate systems in Australia and the United Kingdom had been affected by a cyber-attack.” reads the announcement published by the company.

The foftware firm immediately launched an investigation into the incident and also notified the Australian Cyber Security Centre and relevant UK authorities.
